Each in our own way are getting ready for the trip

I'm doing the boring stuff, load the camper, sort out the clothes, food toys for the kids. Then I set up bill payments while we are gone and halt our mail so I don't lose anything. Joe did call and get the lawn service arranged after I pestered him, looked up the phone number and actually passed him the phone. Thanks Dear!

Yesterday Joe did another huge job...got a truck bed cover installed! I better watch it or I may be riding back there!

I also calculated how much gas and beer i / we will require for the trip...We are not hitting the road for another week.. i still have time to gas up the truck, drink a box of beer, wash the truck and camper, back the truck up to the hitch,,, load my fishing kit, beer cooler and lawn chair,,,Hmmm,,, i might just be pressed for time..OK i won't wash the camper...So we should still be on schedule...
Now that's SASS...

OH! I feel so cheap! What about my needs....enjoy a cuppa tea, do some crafting, play in the garden, read a book...I have things to do, TOO!

The countdown is getting shorter and shorter isn't it?!?
It still seems like too far away!
Just remember to tie up your extension cords better than last summer, there's no one travelling behind you to find it this time (although Mom never thought that it was actually yours and to pull over and pick it up) ha ha!

AHHHHH! More SASS! Stop picking on us, nah...we enjoy it as long as you laugh with us and not at us! I did get your Dad a wind up caddy of extension cord, so if it falls out, it may make a thud!

Oh, I am getting nervous and excited. Can't wait to see you guys again. (wishing Dad was around to see everyone--well almost everyone--together. It would have made him so happy).

I hope the weather is good. There is nothing worse than driving the highways in heavy rain, and we have been getting tons of rain lately.

Drive safe!
