101 in 1001 progress

#1. Joe's truck is in the shop for warranty work and has commandeered my VW - so unless I walk, I'm at home. I'm accomplishing a lot around the house despite my gardening woes. Today marks day 3 of not spending any money...that'll change as soon as we pick up the truck...Joe had them change the oil while it was in.

#14 -Eat vegetarian 2x/wk for a month is on schedule...2 weeks done, 2 to go.

I#24 - started reading my Bible again...what a slow read...fine print...no pictures! Maybe I should switch to the girls'!

#40 - pinwheel quilt should be delivered this weekend! WOOT WOOT as Les would say!

#69 - listen to different CD daily is going well, I listen while I'm downstairs, working on the computer or sewing. Today's selection was the soundtrack from Working Girl which I got from Les when she purged a bunch...now I know why that was in the heap

#15 - water with meals is going well, mostly because I have a nasty dry cough and sipping water eases it - so goes extra humidity in the house.

#35 & 36 - 10km walk...Joe sent me the info on the JD 5 km walk, but it's on Dad's birthday so I'm torn....what to do? It would be a great cause and great practise for a bigger one.

#92 - join St Albert library...I have the forms ready to submit, but I would have to spend money, so am toughing it out until that goal is completed or wrecked.

So that is where I am in the big picture...not all that inspiring but progress none the less.

Aaron said he'll help you along and will serve shrimp this weekend. Are you up for it? Aaron offered me $100 to eat a fishstick and I couldn't do it...

you have to pay to join a public library how weird is that?
you should go get papa so he can watch you do you walk and then do something with me for his birthdat so you can kill 2 birds with 1 stone kind of thing

When you think about how many transient people come to AB just for temporary work, to get EI stamps etc...it's a good thing to charge a nominal fee. We can sign out books as well as audio visual stuff...The way I look at it, one year of the library is about the cost of one book to purchase! A great investment!
