We had a lovely if not whirlwind visit with Gary & Brian! They snuck in the wee hours after the Tim McGraw/Faith Hill concert. Our attack dog Cody didn't even lift an eyebrow! She is not officially in full retirement as our protector!
Wednesday was quiet, lots of talking and catching up. A quick tour of our town to point out the growth potential and then into St Albert to the book store! Yup...we bought books! Exciting, right?!!!!
Supper was BBQ steak and all the fixings with carrot cake and cream cheese icing for dessert. I'm still using up the left over cream cheese from the wedding! Yum!
This morning Joe and the boys headed out. Joe to work and the guys back home. Someone has to work this afternoon @ 5! we'll be heading south for a quick visit before swinging north to Jasper for the retreat.
