Everyone has heard that expression which can be applied to virtually anything. Well it seems I've lost my arithmetic skills! I was taught to use a slide rule long before calculators hit the mass market. Some accountant type people had adding machines but those were few and far between. Students never had access. We had a pencil and eraser!
There was a time when I could add long columns of numbers with out a problem. Figure out the new selling price of something with x% off. Well now I can't seem to add 2+2 and get the right number.
I came across this and I will be practicing. How are your skills?
