Monica, that is hail about the size of marbles. After it passed, we walked out to check for damage and we had ~ 2" of the stuff on the north side of the driveway. I wanted to mow the lawn yesterday but the ground is still soaked and partially covered with hail. Need I say my garden has been shredded to bits? Oh well...it's almost frost time - would have been awful if this happened earlier in the growing season! Today is a new chance to excel.
