Was it too much?

Laughter, fun, food, friends, family, memories....

NAH!

It was just about right!  I missed seeing Heather, Jeff & Jonathan this Christmas season but...I'm hoping to figure out Skype and our webcam so we can remedy that pronto!

Despite regular scale checks...I think I may be in trouble with The Family Jeans!  We had an enormous turkey dinner and then hot turkey sandwiches, cold sandwiches, turkey soup and then last night we did an early New Year's Eve feast of prime rib, Yorkshire pudding and all the trimmings!  With a dining table that looked so fine, how could you not relax, eat and enjoy the atmosphere?  A special thanks to JT & Alex for setting the table and putting the names into Papa's new Nutcracker place tags...everything looked spectacular!

Now the house is quiet, the bedding is in the wash, the television silent...and I can reflect on what a lucky person I am to have all this.

I would love to hear about your celebrations this year and what your plans are for ringing in 2010.  We will probably have a quiet night at home and watch a few great movies...The Sound of Music should be televised soon!

Until next time!

Sound of Music was on on our satellite provider on Sunday night. My MIL and I watched it again. It was made in 1965 and I have not missed too many years since then.

I, too, am very blessed with wonderful family and great friends. Had a great Christmas, although quiet. Talked to Pumpkin on the phone at least.

Wishing you a very Happy and Healthy New Year!

We'll be doing some naked Wii bowling on New Year's Eve, ha ha, just kidding. Leanne gave us a 99% guarantee that Andrew will keep his pants on.
