We had a lovely visit with Heather & Jonathan. We were constantly amazed by his imagination, recall and energy...what a great kid!
I'll post more when my mind quiets down...our house guests left about 4 hours before we got our friends would have to evacuate their acreage as the wildfire changes direction, jumps a road and threatens their safety and homesteads. They are coming here for refuge and a sound night's sleep. I don't know how they are coping with the uncertainty but I do know they are pitching in to help their neighbours before they leave.That's what good people do! We need some steady rain to help the firefighters to gain the upper hand.

A wildfire has got to be a very terrifying thing to deal with. Hope they made out ok.
